My apartment is drenched in all things color and what my mother affectionately likes to call her daughter’s “flower child” style. My home decor seeps into my personal style, especially when I want to veer away from the sometimes drab minimal style that my city is so affectionate towards. So vivid colors & prints with a bohemian flair have really become my thing. And when it comes to my gym, yoga, pilates clothes – the more bright, the more cheery – the better. Those high energy colors make me motivated to work out even when I’m not feeling up to it.
From time to time, I’ll reward myself with a new workout outfit – one that will incentivize me to get off my fabulous ass and grounded on my feet – breaking a sweat. The next little number I have my eye on is from Mara Hoffman, the go to boho designer that just launched her new activewear line. She has everything from printed sports bras to workout pants and even after-workout capes (!). The type that would blend perfectly with my meditation pillow and all seeing eye pillow from her Anthropologie home collaboration that I scooped up last year.
