So, you and your girlfriends have been planning all week to go to the beach. You’ve got your cute beach bag, towel and super hot bathing suit ready to rock. You’re ready to scope out the hot guys playing volleyball – so you want to look cute. But the last thing you want to do is have a face full of makeup on – when you’re on the beach. So what’s a babe to do? There’s a lot of spritzing involved but I’ve got you covered on some easy beach beauty, girl.

Slather on the SPF
Before you leave home, put on that sunscreen because a sunburn is never cute. Protect your skin with an SPF of 30 or higher. I use Alba’s Very Emollient Sunscreen – it’s easy, non-greasy and gets the job done. I never forget the lips either, so I use a really moisturizing balm that’ll last me through the day and keep those bad boys protected from the sun. Through the years, I’ve become obsessed with CO Bigelow’s SPF 15 Mentha Lip Balm, it makes your lips buttery soft and has an awesome pepperminty taste.
Alba Natural Very Emollient SPF 30 Sunscreen, $9
CO Bigelow SPF 15 Mentha Lip Balm Stick, $7.50

Hydrate Your Hair
Your hair can get super dry from the sun, (especially if you have curly hair), so you want to be armed with a hydrator that can restore the moisture in your hair. Before I get to the beach, I spritz my locks with Jane Carter Solution’s Revitalizing Leave-In Conditioner from root to tip – creating a protective barrier from the sun. Sometimes, I’ll even spritz some on before my first dip into the water when I know my hair will get wet and tangled by the salt water – it also acts as an amazing detangler.

Spritz Your Face
With all that Laying around with your girls on the beach, you can get pretty hot. But no one likes a face full of unwanted shine on top of feeling pretty hot. So, I like to bring a travel-sized bottle of Caudalie’s Beauty Elixir that properly hydrates my skin and leaves me feeling very refreshed. The smell of the elixir is amazing and Caudalie’s products make me feel like a French goddess.

Coconut Oil for Everything
So, you and your girls have had enough fun in the sun and you guys are ready to take the beach party to a friend’s BBQ. Since you may be going straight from the beach, you want to look BBQ ready, right? I like smoothing some coconut oil between my hands and rubbing onto my hair to give it a bit of healthy sheen – just in case the salt water did a number on your locks. You can also rub the coconut oil onto your legs, so they’ll look sunkissed fresh with your cut offs.
Spectrum Unrefined Coconut Oil, $15

Everyone at the BBQ will be asking you how you look so glamorous and refreshed after a long day at the beach. It’s just a few quick things to do that will make you look like the naturally, sun-kissed goddess that you are.
