Nary Manivong presented his Fall/Winter 09 Collection on Thursday, February 12th at 6PM sharp at an intimate gallery space. The room was quickly packed in as the designer posed for photographs with his models and his guests. Fine wine and kiwi-strawberry cocktails were passed around as photographers swarmed around the lovely Ally Hilfiger as she viewed the collection consisting of satin skirts, corsets, dresses and jumpsuits. The cute, grungy DJ spinned some fashion appropriate jams as Claire of Chictopia and I chatted about the contrast of colors between the black and the 3 basic primary colors that Nary used. The choice of models and makeup was fantastic. A safe collection for the woman who is self-assured and straight forward.
