Mother Always Knows Best

Happy Mother’s Day to All the Mommies Worldwide! I usually don’t do personal posts but Sometimes we don’t get the chance to really take the time out to appreciate our wonderful mothers. So this is my dedication to the two most fabulous mothers in New York (and quite possibly the world!)

Mami Lopez is my strength and support and the title of this post definitely applies here. It’s so strange how precise a mother’s intuition is. They can sense that the new guy that you’re currently dating is a loser before you even tell her his name. My mother has taught me everything I know about being a wise, strong, independent Latin woman. Never have I come in contact with someone who is so selfless, patient, and attentive. It often boggles my mind how she can be the way she is. My mother is not only a friend and confidant but a QUEEN.

My best friend, Andrea, is the type of mother you always hear about but may never have had the pleasure of meeting.
Loving, caring, hard-working, warm are all words that describe this woman that sacrifices everything to make sure that her beautiful son has everything good there is in this world. She sets the bar for young mothers everywhere striving for the best life possible for their child. Not to mention is one stylish mamma jamma! A woman of fortitude, she someone who I not only admire but hold very close to my heart.
