A few weeks ago, I was having a really hectic day and was in search of some strong coffee and I stumbled upon Babycakes NYC in the Lower East Side. The quaint all-natural and organic bakery on Broome Street is like a gift from the vegan gods. Sweetened by agave, the goodies span from cupcakes, cookie sandwiches, scones, brownie cupcakes and macaroons, each bite is a piece of heaven.
