It was a solemn day after hearing the passing of 32-year old actress Brittany Murphy. She was found dead in her home in Los Angeles after suffering cardiac arrest. Although Murphy’s cause of death is currently under investigation, she leaves behind a legacy of unforgettable films. We knew Brittany best in her breakout film, Clueless, where she played Tai and was rolling with the homies. Yet, one of my favorite Brittany Murphy films was Love and Other Disasters. A quirky indie film that reportedly had a budget of 9 million dollars and didn’t seem to garner the same attention that it deserved.
Brittany played Jacks, a fashion assistant at a fashion magazine in London and lived with her gay best friend. The film chronicles her unpredictable day-to-day happenings with wacky friends and undeniable love. A true testament to exactly who Brittany Murphy was: a charismatic, talented young woman who had a lifetime of beauty, life and laughter to share with the world.

R.I.P she was such a lovely lady.
She really was beautiful. I think she was even kind of under appreciated. But now, I will definitely rent that movie you mentioned! Maybe she will have post-mortem success, Tupac style…
