Fashion’s multifaceted nature lies in the aspects of the creatives that encompass it. What designers can sketch or construct is contrastive to how writers and stylists can interpret a collection. Yet, its safe to say there’s a strong appreciation for what other creatives in the field can produce respectively. I was reminded of this when checking out the sketches for the Eighteenth Spring 2011 line. With so many intricacies, you can see ideas virtually coming into fruition right off the notebook pages. Often times, we’re so accustomed to seeing the finished product that we completely disregard the organic process a designer experiences to fully complete a collection.
