Frank Tell showed one of the most noteworthy collections during New York fashion week with inspirations stemming from muse Penelope Tree, Star Trek, and the Padaung tribes of Burma. Construction was not spared with a surfeit of hand-knit cashmere and wool sweater dresses and coats. Precision of detail was shown with metal eyelets on leather mini dresses and alligator-stamped lamb skirts paired with draped kerchiefs. Creamy Wolford tights pulled together the monochromatic looks and offered a dreamy canvas to exhibit architectural platform shoes, handcrafted by Raphael Young.
