Jewel by Lisa Resort 2013 on Moda Operandi

I was really excited to hear that Jewel by Lisa was available for pre-order on Moda Operandi, especially being that M’O is all I can ever find myself talking or pinning about. I became familiar with the Nigeria-based luxury brand through the Edite Showroom and had done a few shoots featuring their incredible pieces from designer Lisa Folawiyo. Marveled by the designer’s fresh take on traditional African prints, embellished details and unexpected silhouettes, working with her pieces made my job as stylist, an effortless one. The clothes did all the talking.

I love the personality and femininity in the Jewel by Lisa collections. It’s plain to see that vibrancy in the Resort 2013 pieces chosen for the Moda Operandi trunk show that starts today and will run through Saturday, July 14th at 11PM.
