NOT feeling men lately

I am trying to my very hardest to constrain myself from flipping out from the next male I speak to but my patience is running thin. This has been the week of all weeks when it comes to men and their bull…. tacos. And I am fed up. No, I am not a man hater, lesbian, or any of the sort. In fact, I am very fond of the opposite sex. Q-Tip said it best when he said “the thing that men and women need to do is stick together, progressions can’t be made if we are separate forever.” BUT there is a HUGE lack of respect from men towards women these days. First off, guys, do you need to scream obscene things out of cars, on top of ladders, from around the corner to get a woman’s attention? What satisfaction is gained from this? Do you really and truly believe that corny lines and highly inappropriate comments are going to land you a chance with a woman? And PLEASE do not pretend like you want to just compliment us when I just rolled out of bed and came outside to get breakfast, looking a crazy mess. Why is it that you act like you have never seen a woman in your entire life? I had a very unfortunate experience this week with a ‘peeping tom’, and I can’t even go into detail of the horrific occurence. But please listen guys, the next time you decide to say something inappropriate to a woman, think of the discomfort and embarrassment that you may make her feel. Would you want another man to talk to your mother, sister, girlfriend or wife like that? I can go on forever about this but all I am saying is that males need to bring back chivalry, and learn how to be gentleman. Maybe then, males won’t wonder why women are so angry at men. On the flipside, I do want to make clear that I know that not every guy is guilty of the aforementioned topic. Therefore, if you not one of these men I apologize if you feel like I am generalizing. Please feel free to comment on this subject, I would love some feedback.
