More Mochila, Please.

This Friday, on a flight back to New York after a little get-away, there was this gorgeous guy with an even more gorge over-sized, ethnic-printed, three-strap satchel. My freak out over his bag confirmed my current obsession with incorporating some native prints into my accessory regiment. I came across this great Mochila bag by Silvia Tcherassi, whose inspiration stemmed from her native Colombia. If you can’t part with $1500 for the bag, your neighborhood thrift store is bound to have some ethnic accessories that can hold you over. But I do have to say, it’d be kind of hard to find an embroidered, Swarvoski crystal, drawstring bag in the sale bin.
