Last night was my last evening in Puerto Rico before heading back to New York and furthermore, back to reality. I found this vista of rocks overlooking the ocean but I got there a little too late because the sun started to set while winds were blowing every which way. I found this sweet blue version of a guayabera a few years ago in a thrift shop. A guayabera is a traditional shirt that is usually worn in white by men in Latin American countries to formal events. Who needs a stuffy tuxedo when you have a great light, linen shirt? I love the small tie at the waist. I paired them with some cool trouser shorts. I love myself a good trouser with lots of pleating. It reminds me of the 30s and 40s, when women entered the workforce and began wearing pants…
