It’s film festival season in New York. First, the New Directors Film Festival & now, the Gen Art Film Festival. I always do my best to deny my sheer appreciation for independent film by saying “I’m not a movie buff!” Well, I am! And it’s not such a bad thing after all. Especially, when there are films to look forward to like Tanner Hall during Gen Art’s Film Festival. The film is directed by Tatianna Von Furstenberg, Diane’s daughter and Francesca Gregorini, Ringo Star’s step-daughter. The film is set in a boarding school where anything and everything goes. According to Daily Front Row, Diane Von Furstenberg designed the costumes for the cast of fresh actors and season veterans like Amy Sedaris and Chris Kattan. Tanner Hall is sure to be a good watch. There’s something about film festivals that make all films all the more enjoyable to view, especially when the characters are dripped in DvF.
