Video: A Chat with Instagram Gurus from Mobile Media Lab

As much as I love the dreamy things about fashion, I also love the tactical, bottom-line take aways in social media. And when the two intersect? I’m in heaven. I’m very grateful to say that I’ve spent the last two years heading up video at the FashionForward conferences that take place at Crosby Street Hotel each October. I’ve gotten the chance to speak to some beamingly bright minds in the fashion and technology space. Now, it would be a shame to hoard all this knowledge and insightful information to myself. So, I’ll periodically be posting some video interviews I’ve done over the last year or so.

One of my favorite interviews at Fashion Forward: Commerce was without a doubt with the folks from Mobile Media Lab – what you can call a braintrust marketing agency for Instagram, with Brian DiFeo (@bridif), Liz Eswein (@newyorkcity), and Anthony Danielle (@takinyerphoto) at the helm. The three co-founders met one another on Instagram because of their New York-centric Instagram photos and single handedly formed the NYC Instagram Community as it exists today – pioneering photo walks to NYC picturesque views and cultivating that sense of community on a platform that was still unexplored. The three Instagram gurus formed The Mobile Media Lab in early 2012 and have worked with incredible brands like W Hotels, Kératase and Michael Kors. I can’t wait to see how MML will continue to pave the way on Instragam, especially with video. Uhh hello, NYC video walks!
