It is a great time in fashion. Anything goes. Designers bend over backwards to express their artform and creativity, usually bringing us a very entertaining show. Some avant garde designers can really reach far to show their range of design. Although, other fashion houses have taken the avant-garde out of the design and into the hair. The S/S 09 runway was filled with outlandish hair that made the collections look that much better and that much more interesting. As these looks are great on the runway, thats where it should stay, on the runway. Avant-garde hair is fun, inventive and creative. But ladies, I don’t expect to see you on Gansevoort with a stiff ponytail stemming atop your head.
