At first, I really wasn’t so “taken over” by the 80s trends that everyone was dying over during the fall shows. But I really kinda died over the bold shoulder trend that come with the 80s. It just screams strong, decisive woman to me. And plus, I can embrace my own broad shoulders 🙂 I found this vintage Celine jacket in the Marche aux Puces St-Ouen de Clignancourt. I was kind of frustrated after circling the entire flea market and finding nothing worth while, then as I was leaving there was a booth with a man selling vintage Chanel and YSL. Way in the back of his booth, I saw this gorgeous denim jacket with just the shoulders I was looking for. The fine black leather that holds the chain straps across the pockets made me fall in love instantly. It was originally priced at 100 Euro, but I was able to haggle the kind man down to 80 Euro. Thank you St-Ouen booth man, where ever you are.
