Today marks the first day of the much anticipated Social Media Week held simultaneously in New York, San Francisco, Rome, Paris, Toronto, Sao Paulo, London, Hong Kong & Istanbul. Industry experts gather for the annual week long “distributed conference.” As the walls that separate the fashion industry and the tech world are effectively beginning to crumble, Social Media Week New York is a host to a plethora of fashion panels and conferences moderated by industry giants and newcomers.
