I’m still swooning over Mark McNairy’s Spring Summer 2012 look book images. The leopard is quite a daring undertone for a men’s collection, but it works flawlessly. The man behind the camera, Justin Chung, is quite flawless as well. Hailing from San Francisco, Justin came to New York with one thing in mind: to make it happen. And that he has, with his work spanning from McNairy, Capsule coverage, Nylon Magazine, and Shades of Grey, to mention a few. He has a gift at capturing those subtle and natural moments to transform them into a point in time that the viewer would like to experience as well. His Tumblr is a source of inspiration for the fashion community, while Justin is quickly making his mark as the young New York fashion photographer to watch.

A little while back, James Jean was kind enough to ask me to be apart of his photo and interview series called His & Hers with Justin photographing the subject, which just happened to be me this time around. This project was so fun and easy with these two. James asked me a bunch of fun questions, which you can read here on his blog The Mod Rockers.

Justin snapped these of me in Williamsburg one afternoon after a little pow wow at Verb wearing the leopard Eleven Objects collar from Chrissy & Linh Thi. I love the gorgeous color and lighting in these photos. I had been meaning to share them for what seems like forever now, but better late than never. I swear I’m going to get better at blogging more regularly.
