Lala NYC NYFW Coverage: Yigal Azrouel S/S 2010

As I mentioned in my #NYFW tweets, it seemed like all of New York City was at the Promenade for the Yigal Azrouel show. The venue was packed and the music was pumping. It was all about shapes and silhouettes this season for both the ladies and gents. Asymmeterical jackets in both leather and denim ruled the runway and pushed innovative design to a mainstream level. Sleveless trenches, blazers and jackets in cotton and leather served as the perfect solution for all those fall-lovers who desire to maintain their look during steamy summer days. Ladies maintained their sex-appeal in bandage dresses and skirts, a recurring trend that is still lending a strong hand to fashion trends. And jersey cotton was the fabric of choice for comfort-cool pants and floor length dresses. Another season for Yigal and yet another hit.
