A blouse can do wonders for a woman. It can take a masculine look and make it feminine. A feminine look and make it masculine. It can be paired with pants, skirts, shorts. And it can take a dull look to brilliance. The fall collections for ’08 took blouses another notch up with bowtie detailing at the neckline. We’ve seen this look in seasons past but the presentation this season is a bit more tailored and put together. Also, it may have to do with my obsession for Rachel Zoe’s bowtie blouse that she wore frontrow at the Donna Karan S/S 09, but who knows? Bowtie blouses are for pretty ladies with style and grace, so stop always picking on Ms. Zoe!
