Every Tuesday, the CW network gives us our weekly dose of our Beverly Hills fix. With characters from the previous cast and a new batch of West Beverly Hills High teens, the spanking new season makes for a pretty entertaining show. Drama, drugs and sex surround the basis of this show and is very reminiscent of the original. But what about the fashion? For such a highly hyped production I expected a bit more, yet the character of Naomi Clark played by AnnaLynne McCord makes up for the entire cast’s lack of style. As queen B of the series, Naomi can pull off Chanel pearls and hangs with the fab Cory Kennedy.
With high hopes of the show’s success, CBS Consumer Products has already put the 90210 clothing line in production looking to sell to small boutiques rather than deptartment stores. The line includes women’s junior apparel like t-shirts and sportwear. Let’s stay tuned to see the wardrobing evolve. I’ll try to stay positive but I doubt they will ever come close to surpassing the wardrobing of network neighbor, and fan favorite Gossip Girl.
