So, Miss Patricia Field has been getting a lot of work lately; from SATC, Kim and Kath, Ugly Betty, and now Confessions of a Shopaholic starring Isla Fisher. Yet now I think that the general public has been able to see Ms. Field’s body of work. And the big question is, is Pat really going to be able to live up to her hype? I’d have to say from just seeing the wardrobing of Confessions of a Shopaholic, and having read the book, the character does not look creative and innovative in style. Instead Isla Fisher’s character is looking over-thought, over-styled, and tacky-chic. As a big fan of Miss Field’s work on SATC and Ugly Betty, I am beginning to second-guess the versality of her art-form; which almost hurts to say : ( It could’ve just been a bad job, or maybe the truth just hurts….
