I love when brands put out lookbooks that have strong mood like this one from Mes Demoiselles. Something you can feel, something you can connect with. I’ll take that feeling of connection any day. I can do without those brands with a household name that creates something that feels forced and unnatural. Just because a mammoth luxury label may have a big budget that doesn’t necessarily mean a big connection to the customer. When it comes down to it, fashion is essentially about the clothes we buy to put on our backs. So it should feel good and near to us – like a second skin. These series of images from the Mes Demoiselles Spring 2014 lookbook gives me all the airy and weightless summer vibes that I’m digging at the moment. I’ll take one of everything, please and thank you.
