Paris Fashion Week hasn’t yet ended but Ford’s Kate King has perfected her catwalk stride this season, with a running tally of a 52 shows walked for elite fashion houses like Lanvin, Prada, Proenza Schouler, Oscar de la Renta, Burberry Prorsum and Bottega Veneta. Its safe to say that this Canada native will be the go to campaign darling for the Spring 2012 adverts. She has the transformable beauty and body with those persuasive eyes that rival Ruby Aldridge.
I had the chance to work with Kate on an editorial for Ozon’s International Issue. The perfect model to work with – easy, professional and conveys any mood that needs to be captured. She and Marie Lunde (Elite) were a great pairing. After the shooting, Anouk told me that she was going to be big. And from the looks of it, this season Kate King has arrived.
