The Morgan Hotel was the venue for the first presentation I was to attend for New York Fashion Week to view Brazilian collection Iodice. The Spring/Summer 2009 collection and the presentation was quite sensual with a simplistic color palette and facile use of fabrics. The use of cream, blue, grey, red and white paired with a skilled use of draping made for a series of dresses and separates that are perfect for a night out for cocktails with friends to introduce them to your hot new boyfriend. With knee-length dresses at pricepoints of about $300, you can’t go wrong with Iodice.
