Lala Covers NYFW: Adam F/W 09

Upbeat electro-alternative music pumped up the Adam show at the Promenade to a high intensity. Jennifer Love Hewitt sat prettily next to Erin and Samantha of MTV’s reality show, The City. Samantha shot quick jealous glances as photographers asked for Erin’s photo and not hers… but you didn’t hear it from me! Kate Lanphear sat front row at the beginning of the runway to view the very extensive collection that consisted of young, flirty pieces that are perfect for a fun, sophisicated, 23-year old young lady. The choice of models were on-target and complemented the pieces wonderfully. The Asian model with the boy cut, pictured above worked it above the rest. The pops of color that streamed down the runway were attractive and alluring. As was the hair, which was parted straight down the middle and was teased into a subtle bouffant at the back of the crown. The raunchy “Gallery Piece” by Of Montreal kept things as fresh as the look of this youthful collection.
