Lebanese designer Georges Chakra is known for his red-carpet red gowns favorited by Queen Latifah and Mischa Barton. His first New York Fashion Week show took place at the Promenade on Valentine’s Day at 11AM. Celebrity-stylist Phillip Bloch watched the sea of heavy gowns gallop down the runway from front row. While Jennifer Love Hewitt and Kellie Pickler of American Idol made mental notes of their picks for their next award show. The showstopper of the show was the dramatic black tulle dress with multi-colored embellishments on the tutu skirt.
