Industria Studios in the MePa District was flooded with photographers, camera men, editors, and cast members of MTV’s The City for the Whitney Eve presentation. As cameras flashed, guests enjoyed the ice cream cone-shaped cupcakes and sightings of reality television stars.
Whitney Port’s second collection for Whitney Eve was as sugary as the sweets being served that evening. Model casting was spot on as the Spring Summer 2011 collection aimed toward a young California girl with a fiery spirit for that New York sensibility. Color palettes were balanced and fun. Skin-baring midrifts, jumpers and cut out dresses made for an easy, laid back aesthetic that caters to the girl looking to spread her style wings.
