There was not a buyer, editor or celebrity that missed the Z Spoke by Zac Posen Spring Summer 2011 show at Lincoln Center. The likes of Fern Mallis, Devon Aoki, Carmen Electra, Claire Danes, Solange, Olivia Palermo, Russell Simmons, Kristin Cavallari were all in attendance, while I ogled dreamboat Olivier Zahm.
Sessilee Lopez opened the thirty-look show of bright hues, fun florals and prints. Catering to fearless and free spirited twenty-somethings everywhere, the collection showed a great deal of jumpsuits, trousers and corseted numbers that did not spare color or spontaneity. Model favorite, Crystal Renn, sported a flan-shaded stretch crepe jumpsuit that hit below the knee. Towering, wedged shoes were collaborated with the Steve Madden conglomerate. The show was action-packed with model trips and falls, music by the Misshapes and a whole lot of personality from Anna Cleveland. Seeing the lighthearted, youthful side to Zac Posen was a breath of fresh air. Luxury and mass, the man can do it all.
